An Cregan - Mother Daughter Retreat Day - 9-12 Year Olds

This will be our 3rd Year of running our Mother & Daughter Retreat Day's and we are very excited to share this special day with those that attend.  The date we are gathering is  aligned with New Moon and Autumn Equinox making it an even more energetically powerful and perfect day.  

In ancient civilisations young women would have learnt about their changing bodies from other women in their communities who would have gathered in a “Red Tent” during Menstruation.  This was a beautiful way to supoort and nurture girls as the journey to becoming Young Women.  

We hope to recreate this empowering environment whilst enjoying movement, games, music, crafts and time in nature.  This will help us to break stigma, taboo & shame around menstruation and create a beauftiful day with last memories that will help bonding and connection between mother and daughter in the years ahead.
