About the event
This will be our 3rd Year running our Mother & Daughter Retreat Day's. We are very excited to share this special day with those that attend.
In ancient civilisations young women would have learnt about their changing bodies from other women in their communities who would have gathered in a “Red Tent” during Menstruation. This was a beautiful way to supoort and nurture girls as the journey to becoming Young Women.
We hope to recreate this empowering environment whilst enjoying movement, games, music, crafts and time in nature. This will help us to break stigma, taboo & shame around menstruation and create a beauftiful day with lasting memories. We will nurture a healthy relationship with her body for your daughter and support bonding and connection between mother and daughter in the years ahead.
