Founder
Joanne Callan
Joanne Callan, Is highly experienced holistic health and wellbeing coach, with a passion for helping women improve their physical, mental, and spiritual wellbeing.
In 2020 she founded a Changing Cycles, Community Interest Company with a vision to create “A world where the cyclical nature of women is understood, respected and integrated into everyday life"

Joanne's holistic and passionate approach to health and wellbeing focuses on creating societal changes in the areas of menstrual health, female energy and diet culture and in supporting individuals to nurture mind, body and spirit to achieve overall health, balance and wellbeing.
​
She has written for local newspapers, held a regular slot on QRadio & Destination Newry, been interviewed on the Lynette Faye show on BBC Radio Ulster and currently writes a Bi Monthly article for Ni4Kids Magazine.

With over 20 years experience, Joanne has successfully supported hundreds of women on their journey to wellness.
Many of her clients begin their journey with me during pregnancy or whilst on a fertility journey. Others connect with me for stress management or general health and well being concerns, whilst for others it's to support healing their relationship with food and their body.

In addition to my work with adults, Joanne is also dedicated to promoting wellbeing for children and supporting them to develop resilience and life skills.

Time Line
1998 – Studied Food Technology at Loughry College Cookstown
2000 – Whilst on Work placement – opened by own Coffee Shop
2004 – Became Manager of a Coffee Shop for an International Chain of Coffee Shops & was promoted to Brand Standards Trainer for UK & Ireland
2006 – Trained as Reflexologist
2012 - Certified Relax Kids Coach. I now deliver fun and engaging relaxation and wellbeing programs to approximately 1000 children per week through my in school programs.
​2014 - Relax Kids International Trainer (Ireland) and I trained and mentored over 400 Coaches.
2018 - Trained with Institute For The Psychology of Eating and became certified as a Mind, Body, Nutrition Coach.

Joanne is passionate about social change, educating, empowering and supporting people of all ages to be the healthiest that they can be.

Sarah Logan
Sarah Logan - Mindfulness & Wellness Facilitator**
Sarah Logan is a dedicated Mindfulness and Wellness facilitator, passionate about empowering others to live more mindful and fulfilling lives. As the founder of Inner Happiness NI, she has been supporting individuals since 2020, aligning her values closely with those of Changing Cycles.
Her journey began in 2018 when she participated in a Be Balanced course led by Joanne Callan (Founder of Changing Cycles) which introduced Sarah to the transformative power of her menstrual cycle. This insight, combined with her mindfulness practices, has enabled her to live in flow and honour her needs and desires with greater ease, fostering personal healing and growth.
As a facilitator for Changing Cycles, Sarah thoroughly enjoys leading Mother and Daughter Retreat Days and the Living In Flow programs. Her passion lies in helping both children and women gain a deeper understanding of themselves through mindfulness and menstrual cycle awareness.
Sarah’s qualifications include:

- Law of Attraction Diploma (2022)
- Currently pursuing a Level 5 Diploma in Mindfulness through Life Practice Academy

Mentor
Mary McCrink
Mary McCrink is a highly skilled Art Psychotherapist with a strong background in social work and is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of children and young people. With a deep passion for empowering individuals and communities, Mary is committed to driving positive social change. As a talented artist specializing in intricate black-and-white pencil drawings, she is also on a journey of self-discovery, exploring her evolving artistic identity. She regularly attends creative, nature-based workshops, which fuel her vision of blending art and nature to promote well-being and personal growth. Mary is passionate about traveling and immersing herself in diverse cultures. She has also had the rewarding experience of working abroad at Summer Camps in the USA, where she developed valuable skills and built meaningful connections through cultural exchange.
Mary has long championed the health and well-being of women and girls, a mission that aligns seamlessly with the vision of Changing Cycles. Since joining as a Changing Cycles Mentor in 2022, Mary has been instrumental in delivering transformative programs. Her contributions include leading Mother-Daughter Retreats, participating in the Preparing for Change Programme in local schools, and participating in art workshops and wellness events. Notably, Mary played a key role in a recent event at Stormont, promoting our social enterprise's vital initiatives.
As an artist, Mary is also creating unique pieces of art to support both Changing Cycles these will be available through Moontimes our online shop. Mary has be shortlisted fo Social Enterprise NI "The Young Person In Social Enterprise Award 2024 and she is currently exploring new opportunities to help expand Changing Cycles and further develop impactful programs that serve our local communities. Mary has leveraged her transferable skills and expertise from her previous roles, which we believe will significantly contribute to the advancement of Changing Cycles.
